The picture will change with the circuit of the railway track, the state will get an outer ring rail

If the Rail Vikas Nigam works seriously on the rail network front, then Uttarakhand will get an outer ring rail. This project connecting Garhwal and Kumaon to a circle of the rail network will not only make the state’s transport system easier but will also become a strong base for the state’s economy.

Work is going on to build the Rishikesh to Karnaprayag railway line. If the railway line reaches Karnaprayag via Ramnagar-Chaukhutiya in Kumaon division, then a circuit will be ready. Ramnagar is an important place from the tourism point of view. The plan to expand the railway service from here to the hills has been raised in the Parliament.

Another option of railway line will be available
It talks about extending the railway line to Ramnagar-Chaukhutiya-Gairsain-Karnprayag. If this line reaches, it will join the Rishikesh-Karnprayag railway line to form a circuit. This will provide another railway option to reach Garhwal from Kumaon.
