Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that India is a country with a culture of festivals. There is some basic feeling behind celebrating every festival here. These festivals include mutual brotherhood, love and the rituals of maintaining relationships. Among the 12 months of the year, Shravan is the only month that everyone waits for. At this time, along with the clouds, the spring of swings starts appearing on the trees. In such a situation, the festival of Rakshabandhan comes. Today I am blessed to celebrate Rakshabandhan among my beloved sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the gratitude cum gift program dedicated to the beloved sisters organized at Itwari Ganj Organic Agriculture Market in Balaghat on the holy Monday of Shravan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that our culture teaches that the first right of affection in life is of the parents. After them, this right is given to the sisters who love their brothers. I have been receiving immense love from my sisters at different places in the state since August 1. The eagerness with which the sisters have waited for me while coming from Jabalpur to Balaghat amid heavy rains is a symbol of this affection. To ensure that my sisters can celebrate the festival of Rakshabandhan with pomp, an amount of Rs 1250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana and Rs 250 as shagun/gift for Rakshabandhan will be transferred to the account of the sisters with a single click on August 10. When the sisters will apply tilak to their brother and tie Rakhi on Rakshabandhan, I will automatically get their blessings.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that our sisters know very well how to make good use and manage the amount received. An amount of Rs 08 crore 92 lakh will be given to the sisters of Balaghat district on August 10. Our government has provided an amount of Rs 500 crore to 3 lakh 56 thousand sisters every month from June 2023 to August 2024. For the empowerment of women, the government is now providing gas cylinders for Rs 450 under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Gas Scheme. To empower women economically, the government has taken initiative to connect them with industries through self-help groups and MSMEs.
Bonus amount will be given for paddy like wheat
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Chinnor rice of Balaghat district has received GI tagging status. Now farmers will be provided bonus amount for paddy like wheat. Along with this, bonus will be given to improve the economic condition of animal breeders and their income. To encourage tendu leaf collectors, the amount given to them per sack will also be increased. In the PM Janman Yojana, a provision of about Rs 7 thousand 300 crore has been made in the budget for the economic and social upliftment of special backward tribes. Construction work of 19 roads will also be started in the Baiga settlements of the tribal community. Along with this, the benefit of Nal-Jal Yojana will also be provided under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that the land of Balaghat in the state has been blessed by nature. This district is known in the country and abroad for its mineral wealth. Precious metals like manganese and copper are contained in its womb. About 80 percent of manganese reserves are present in the district. Chief Minister will inaugurate medical college in Seoni
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that when he comes to Balaghat, work is being done to improve the health facilities in the state. He has told that he will soon inaugurate a new medical college in Seoni. He said that 12 medical colleges will be started in the state under the PPP model. Apart from this, survey work will also be done to make the Seoni to Balaghat road four lane.
Chief Minister sweetened the mouth of sisters, sisters tied Rakhi
On the holy Monday of Shravan, sisters of Balaghat tied Rakhi on the wrist of Chief Minister brother Dr. Yadav. Brother Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was completely emotional while getting Rakhi tied. He extended both his hands in front of the sisters and got Rakhi tied and also gave gifts with his own hands. At the same time, he also made the sisters sweet by feeding them sweets with his own hands. The festive atmosphere of Shravan was organized in the organic market located in Itwariganj.

Lakhpati sisters of Balaghat also tied Rakhi in the program held in Balaghat, and CM Bhaiya made them sweet with his own hands.
