The martyred policemen truly lived the motto of “Patriotism-Message of Public Service” – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister inaugurated the 50-bed ultramodern police hospital Swasthi. "E-Rakshak" and "Disha Learning App" were launched.

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that during the Corona period, when big doctors unaware of this disease had closed their clinics, even in those circumstances, the police took the front without caring for their lives. 155 policemen were martyred while on duty during the Corona period. They truly lived the message of “patriotism-public service” and sacrificed their lives on the altar of duty. I salute such brave warriors. The more vigilance and dedication with which the police work, the more respect and admiration for them increases. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the state-of-the-art fully equipped police hospital ‘Swasti’ in Bhopal on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the digital app E-Rakshak and Disha Learning App, created with a view to help field policemen control crime and criminals.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all facilities are available in this ultramodern hospital ‘Swasti’ built at a cost of approximately twelve and a half crores. Appreciating the financial management and discipline of the police department, he said that looking at the hospital, it seems that its cost should have been more. At the beginning of the program, daughters of policemen welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by applying Tilak. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was saluted by firing in joy along with the police band. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the hospital and wrote his thoughts in the visitor’s book.

40 thousand policemen got Karmveer Warrior Medal

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honoured 40 thousand policemen of MP Police with Karmveer Yodha Medal for their indomitable courage and commendable work during the Corona period and presented them with certificates. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav symbolically presented medals and certificates to 5 policemen. Acting Inspector Mr. Munendra Gautam, Sub Inspector Ms. Priyamvada Singh, Mr. Gulzar Singh Marco, Constable Mr. Ajay Pal Singh and Constable Mr. Nishant Chari were awarded medals and certificates. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised Director General of Police Mr. Sudhir Kumar Saxena and said that the head of the department should be like this, the way he has taken the lead in working for the welfare of the policemen.

 Police will work with data, not with batons

Regarding the “E-Rakshak App”, the Director General of Police informed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had said in his address in the conference that “In this electronic age, the police need to work with data instead of batons.” In accordance with his wishes, information about habitual criminals will be available to policemen with a single click through the MP E-Rakshak App. Policemen will be able to see the information of habitual criminals living in their duty area simultaneously. During patrolling, the name of the suspect can be searched in the criminal database. Along with this, information related to the accused can be obtained by uploading his photo under the face recognition module. Along with this, by going to the vehicle search window, information related to the vehicle can be obtained by the vehicle registration, engine or chassis number. Information about stolen and seized vehicles can also be obtained. The trial run of this app equipped with other facilities has been started in a phased manner in Bhopal, Indore and other districts.

Disha Learning App

Director General of Police Mr. Saxena said that due to the nature of their work, policemen are not able to pay attention to the education of their children due to their busy schedule and being on duty outside the headquarters. In this regard, Disha Learning App Centers have been established to provide an educational environment to the children of policemen in terms of state-of-the-art education. These centers have been started in districts and battalions. Children of policemen will be able to get education in these centers. Students will be able to get comprehensive information and guidance from the app. Along with this, they will also be provided career guidance. This app has been made for students of classes 8th and above. This app will help the students in determining the direction related to further studies and employment.
