Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the life and ideals of saints are always exemplary. The sun burns itself to give us light, similarly the saints also illuminate our lives with knowledge and happiness by meditating themselves. Saint Kanwar Ram ji was also one such great saint. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this on Monday at the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Saint Kanwar Ram ji in the public park of Sindhi Colony, Alakhdham Nagar, Ujjain. He also distributed certificates of the Golden Book of World Records for providing free air travel to the disabled, organized by Samarth Seva Sansthan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today is a very auspicious day. Today is the full moon day of the month of Vaishakh. Today is Buddha Purnima. Saint Kanwar Ram Ji inspired people to follow the path of truth and morality. He believed in taking everyone along. By installing the statue of Saint Kanwar Ram Ji in this garden, everyone will continue to receive his blessings.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the officials of the Nagarpalika Corporation that the garden should be maintained regularly. He also announced financial assistance from the government to make the garden of Alakhdham Nagar an ideal garden. The Chief Minister distributed certificates of free religious travel to the Divyangjans in the Golden Book of World Records. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that serving the Divyangjans is like serving God. Samarth Seva Sansthan has done a very praiseworthy work, which is exemplary for everyone. Samarth Seva Sansthan has so far provided free religious air travel to 47 Divyangjans. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on his behalf congratulated the officials of the organization.
In the program, Shri Shyam Maheshwari provided information about the institute. Shri Daulat Khemchandani presented the biography of Sant Kanwar Ram ji. He told that Sant Kanwar Ram ji was a famous Indian saint and poet, who made a significant contribution to devotional literature. The depth of life values, love and spirituality have been expressed in his poems. Sant Kanwar Ram ji was born in Rajasthan. The spirit of simplicity, love and spirituality is seen in his poems. He raised his voice against the evils and superstitions prevalent in the society.
