The doors of MP are open for everyone, investors are welcome in every sector: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make the poorest of the poor prosperous. The changing times of India are proof of the historic decisions taken by Prime Minister Shri Modi during his 11-year tenure. The Madhya Pradesh government is fully participating in India’s continuous strengthening in the field of industry and economy to fulfill the Prime Minister’s resolve. Along with giving the industrialists the benefit of incentive policies for investment in Madhya Pradesh, work will be done to provide additional facilities apart from the policies. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the special session of Invest in Madhya Pradesh Business Forum in Dubai on Monday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited industrialists from Dubai to invest in tourism, textile and MSME and other sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that entrepreneurship is that the entrepreneur does not collect money but rather invests that money in the enterprise and expands his business. This increases business manifold. This understanding of business is found in those industrialists of Dubai who are Indians and are special contributors to the development of this country. It was a pleasant experience to see the Texmas textile area, the excellence of the planning side was seen here. There will be an effort to implement this model in Madhya Pradesh as well.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is welcoming investors from all sectors. We have come to Dubai for this purpose. The central and state governments are working to improve the lives of the poorest of the poor. The government is fulfilling all its responsibilities so that the farmers of the state get a fair price for their crops. Indian culture and food have a big role in the progress of industrialists. The doors of Madhya Pradesh are open for everyone. The state government is working with the aim of long-term progress.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that senior officials of the Madhya Pradesh government have given detailed information about the benefits of investing in Madhya Pradesh. Dubai has strong trade relations with India. If we look at the history of Dubai, it was a major center of fisheries and fishing in the 19th century. The availability of oil between 1950 and 1970 changed this region. Today Dubai is known for its skyscrapers. The current state of UAE also includes the feeling of world brotherhood. In fact, this is Indian philosophy. This region of Arabia has adopted our sentiment. A large number of Indians live here who become harmonious wherever they go. Most of them are not educated from IIT or IIM but their life experiences are more important than these degrees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today we got the opportunity to enjoy the aroma of Indian spices and cuisine in Dubai, there is no comparison to it. Now metro and bullet train are the identity of Dubai. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with wealth, love of the heart is also important. I received similar love from the Indians settled here. God’s special blessings can also be seen on Dubai.

Success of Operation Sindoor

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the changing times, the world has become smaller due to the digital age. Business worth crores can be done without moving. The same change has been seen in the war zone as well. Prime Minister Shri Modi has shown the world this resolve through Operation Sindoor that we can go to the enemy’s house and kill him. Prime Minister Shri Modi has also given the message of live and let live. India’s opposition is not against any country but against the terrorists.

To make the poor rich, business acumen is required

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Mr. Modi has developed bilateral relations with Dubai from 2014 to the year 2025. There should be an understanding of business to make the poor prosperous. Prime Minister Mr. Modi is constantly taking important steps in this direction. He made 90 percent of custom duty free. He opened the doors of the world from Dubai which is an example. Today other countries are also witnessing the Dubai model. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh will have strong relations with Dubai in other areas including food chain supply. India’s economy has changed in the last ten years. India, which was at the 11th position, is now becoming the third largest economy. Tata Institute has strengthened the aviation sector. In India too, moving ahead of Metro and Vande Bharat, bullet train is being started between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Prime Minister Mr. Modi has also done a great job of bringing back India’s gold which was in other countries. In this way, the capable Prime Minister Mr. Modi is doing the work of increasing India’s reputation.

Farmer Welfare

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a strategy has been prepared to give good prices to farmers on wheat and other crops in Madhya Pradesh. The farmers’ produce should reach those areas where they can get better prices. There is also availability of skilled workers in Madhya Pradesh. Entrepreneurs from other countries including Dubai are also being attracted to the agriculture and food processing sector here.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary Science and Technology Mr. Sanjay Dubey said that India is rapidly becoming a leader in the technological sector. There is a wave of technology across the country including Madhya Pradesh. Both technical talent and infrastructure are available in tier-2 cities like Indore and Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh has many facilities including ease of living, ease of doing business, clean environment, reduction in transportation time, technically skilled youth, which makes the state a leader in the technological sector in the country. Madhya Pradesh has implemented 5 policies to attract investment in IT and related sectors and to provide financial and non-financial facilities to investors. Madhya Pradesh is soon going to implement the SpaceTech Policy. He informed that Ujjain is such a city in the world where time was calculated before GMT. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, research and efforts are going on to make Ujjain a center of astronomy. Through more than 18 technological policies including startup, drone, space-tech, AI and e-governance, the state is becoming an emerging hub of technological investment.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shri Shivshekhar Shukla described Madhya Pradesh as the “heart state” rich in historical, cultural and religious heritage and said that it has more than 800 heritage sites, 18 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 12 National Parks, 6 Tiger Reserves and 3 Biosphere Reserves, due to which it is called the ‘Tiger’, ‘Cheetah’ and ‘Leopard State’. The establishment of Mahakal Lok has increased religious tourism. 16 projects and 18 policies have been implemented to increase investment in tourism and hospitality sector. The state is now also becoming a major center for film tourism.

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Raghvendra Singh said that the success of Indians in Dubai is a global inspiration and shows that boundaries are only mental. Madhya Pradesh is developing rapidly under the “Yeh Time Hai, Sahi Time Hai” mantra of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. More than 700 investment meetings, 5 international road shows and investment proposals worth ₹30.7 lakh crore in the state show that it has become an ideal destination for investment. He said that whoever comes to Madhya Pradesh once, becomes one of them.

In his welcome address, Secretary General of Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) Mr. Sahitya Chaturvedi said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s visit to Dubai will determine a long-term treaty between India and UAE. IBPC was established in the year 2003 to strengthen business relations between India and UAE. From its inception till date, this institution has been providing every possible help to Indian industries in setting up in UAE and to the NRIs.

Indian Consul General in UAE, Shri Satish Sivan said that after the historic Dubai visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the year 2015, the path of shared prosperity and development has been paved between India and UAE. He said that the (Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) agreement was implemented in the year 2022. Through the agreement, an institutional mechanism has been developed to encourage trade between the two countries, which is benefiting the MSME sector of India. Shri Sivan said that this visit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will write a new chapter in the relations between India and UAE. The strategic partnership between India and UAE is historic. Madhya Pradesh will benefit from this partnership. Madhya Pradesh has immense possibilities for investment in agriculture, food processing, textiles, renewable energy and start-ups. Madhya Pradesh’s rich forest wealth, wellness sector, cultural heritage and tourist places will attract investors from UAE.
