The Chief Minister has instructed officials to prepare a policy for wedding destinations and has given them a four-week deadline

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami: held a meeting with officials at the Secretariat on Wednesday. During the meeting of the Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board (UIIDB), CM Dhami instructed officials to develop a policy for promoting Uttarakhand as a wedding destination.

CM Dhami emphasized the need for a policy to be prepared within four weeks to attract wedding events. He also directed officials to expedite the process of enabling night landing facilities at Dehradun Airport. CM Dhami stressed the importance of prioritizing the development of the Haridwar-Rishikesh corridor and the Sharda corridor. He stated that the government is working towards a 25-year vision, considering both heritage and development aspects. CM Dhami instructed officials to ensure the phased development of the proposed Knowledge City in Dapkathar. He also emphasized the importance of transparency and inclusivity by incorporating suggestions from elected representatives and stakeholders in all projects.
