Be Careful If Someone Asks for Your Phone on the Street: A Shocking Case

Dehradun  : You should be cautious if someone on the street asks for your phone to make a call. The police have arrested two cunning criminals who were involved in snatching phones. These criminals would approach people on the street, ask for their phones to make a call, and then run away with the phones. The first incident took place in Vikas Nagar. On December 18th, Rajiv Dobhal, a resident of Vikas Nagar, filed a police report. He stated that on December 17th, he was shopping in the Vikas Nagar market when two unknown boys asked for his phone to make a call and then ran away with it. The second incident also occurred in Vikas Nagar. Anil Sharma, son of Dayaram Sharma, a resident of Vikas Nagar, reported to the police that on the night of December 16th, he was riding his scooter from Herbertpur to his home in Dakpathar. At the hospital intersection in Vikas Nagar, two unknown boys asked for his phone to make a call and then ran away with it.

Police Arrested Both Accused After receiving both reports, the police registered cases against the unknown individuals and began investigating the matter. The police also activated their local informer network to apprehend the accused. With their help, the police arrested both accused who committed these crimes. The accused were identified as Suresh Verma, a resident of Kalsi, and Shubham, a resident of Vikas Nagar. The police recovered both stolen phones from the accused.
