The Chief Minister congratulated for the innovations in the context of the National Education Policy

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed happiness over the innovations being done by the School Education Department in compliance with the National Education Policy and congratulated the School Education Department. He has said that the entire government is working dedicatedly to ensure that every child of the state is educated and progresses. He has instructed the department to maintain this sense of dedication and to always strive to ensure that every child gets education, books, uniforms, scholarships, bicycles and other necessary facilities on time.

School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh informed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that a total of 11 types of innovations have been done in the interest of students by the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board (ISO 9001 : 2015 Certified) under the School Education Department. These innovations are getting a very good response. Our effort is that through this board we reach every child in the state who wants to get education through open school.

Self-reliant Madhya Pradesh Scheme

School Education Minister Mr. Singh informed that point number 16.4 of the National Education Policy mentions that vocational education should be integrated in such a way that every child learns skills related to at least one vocation. In compliance with this system, the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh scheme has been started. In the sequence of the Atmanirbhar Bharat scheme announced by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, an ambitious pilot project has been started through the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board for skill enhancement. In this, employment oriented training is being started in the areas of handloom, handicraft, clay art, solar energy, garment manufacturing, bamboo art etc. On the one hand, the people being trained will get employment, on the other hand, they will also be available as a resource person for vocational courses starting from class 6. In this scheme, residential training will be provided to 100 aspiring youth of the state. After training, they will also be linked to employment. This scheme is being started as a Human Capital Bank. This means that a bank is being established by asking for money as donation from public participation. A state-level centre of excellence for skill development is being set up in a district of the state so that master trainers can be prepared for the development of specified skills.

Don’t stop planning

Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board Bhopal is an educational institution and is run to fulfill the objective of “Education for All”. It is an important responsibility of the institution to take meaningful initiatives to save the young generation from suicidal incidents due to fear of failure in examinations. The young generation is the future of the country, with the objective of saving them from taking suicidal steps, making their future bright and helping in the progress of the country, the Open School Education Board started the “Ruk Jana Nahi Yojana” in 2016. This scheme was for the failed students of Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal, Bhopal as a pilot project. Based on the success of the scheme, it has been implemented on demand for CBSE as well. So far, more than 6 lakh 41 thousand 553 students have benefited from the Ruk Jana Nahi Yojana.

School media platforms

The school media platform in Madhya Pradesh is being run by ExtraChildhood.org. In 53 Education for All schools in Madhya Pradesh, students from more than 50 thousand government schools have been given the opportunity to showcase their creativity and empowerment through media and technology. By providing these schools with their own TV stations, radio stations, e-newspapers and magazines, students and teachers are being taught ways to connect and communicate with the country and the world through this platform.

By establishing Artificial Intelligence curriculum, the board is making arrangements to train students in all subjects on computers in a modern way. Establishment of digital infrastructure, online teaching platform and equipment is also being encouraged in schools. Due to this, students are receiving education through digital medium. In Sanskrit and Sanskriti Ka Uday, Arun and Uday classes are being started in place of LKG and UKG before class AK in one school of each district from the upcoming academic session. The medium of these classes will be Sanskrit. Arun and Uday classes will be conducted in 53 selected EFA schools by MP State Open School Education Board in Sanskrit language. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, an annual financial assistance scheme of maximum Rs 10,000 per student every year has been implemented for residential Sanskrit schools run on Gurukul method to make Sanskrit and Sanskrit knowledge system more capable. This will provide unprecedented help to more than 10 thousand Sanskrit students of the state to continue their studies. He told about the ITI Higher Secondary Equivalency Scheme that under this any student passing the ITI exam will be able to appear for Class 12 exam after receiving practical training in only one language and the exam in employment skills and entrepreneurship.

School Education Minister Shri Singh also told about the innovation of giving the opportunity to dropout students to appear in the examination without any fees and arranging coaching under the Aa Laut Chalen scheme. Similarly, under the School Make Over Program, students are also being trained in storytelling, art, interview and literature writing. He told that the Board has created separate websites for 53 selected EFA schools. Apart from publicizing the activities of the schools, it is also proving helpful in the promotion of the school.
