
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held in Indore’s Rajwada on May 20 in the memory of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. Maharaj Malhar Rao Holkar, who established the Holkar Empire, will also be remembered in this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the 300th birth anniversary year of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar is concluding on May 20. It is a happy coincidence that Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar’s marriage anniversary also falls on May 20. The meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav began with the singing of Vande Mataram in the Secretariat. Before the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the ministers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts are being made to bring a proposal for the District Development Advisory Committee in the next meeting of the Council of Ministers. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has announced that the basis of participation in development should be expanded by connecting one lakh people active in different fields with development activities. District Development Committee has been conceived for this purpose. The Vice-President of this committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister will be the local in-charge minister. Along with the District Panchayat President, MLA, MP, Janpad President, Mayor, Municipal Council President, experts from more than 20 fields like medicine, law, engineering, social service, agriculture, horticulture, dairy, industry etc. will be made participants in the development model. This will provide direct benefit of their expertise in the development of the district and their expert participation will be ensured in the implementation of the Amrit Kaal agenda till the year @2047.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked Prime Minister Shri Modi for the approval of PM Mitra Park in Dhar and said that the Central Government has approved an amount of Rs 2 thousand 62 crores. The state government has received proposals for investment of Rs 10 thousand crores in Dhar in this regard. It is a matter of good fortune for Dhar district that development activities will be conducted in Pithampur and now on the other side Ghata Billaud. PM Mitra Park will provide employment to three lakh people. This will help in reviving the production of cotton in the entire Malwa-Nimar region including Dhar, Jhabua.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that Shri Manohar Singh, who saved the lives of 4 people in the accident that took place in Mandsaur yesterday without caring for his own life, has sacrificed his life. His family will be given a government job. He said that the state government will also honour him posthumously. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Environment Department has been directed to issue an advisory regarding ensuring adequate safety in gas-operated vehicles. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also shared information regarding the installment of dearness allowance to government servants with his cabinet colleagues.
