Tap connections should be provided to every household under the Nal Jal Yojana: MP Brijmohan Agarwal
Raipur. MP Brijmohan Agarwal said that tap connections will be provided to every household in the district under the Nal Jal Yojana in the general meeting of the District Panchayat held at the Red Cross of the Collectorate premises. In this meeting, he stressed the need to increase coordination between the administration and the contractors to ensure the availability of water. Water is an essential part of our life. Under this scheme, we have to ensure that every family gets pure and adequate water. He warned the contractors that if they do not complete their work on time, they may have to face serious consequences. He said that proper implementation and transparency of the schemes is very important, so that the trust of the public remains. The MP said that a list of such schools should be prepared, in which compulsory subjects like Mathematics, Biology, Science and Arts are not being taught. For this, a letter should be written to the government so that these subjects can be taught. Apart from this, regarding the supply of substandard seeds by the Seed Corporation in Tandwa Gram Panchayat, MP Shri Agarwal directed to give compensation and insurance amount to 106 farmers as per rules and take action against the culprits. Promotion of organic farming was also discussed in the meeting. MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal said that organic farming will not only increase the income of farmers, but it is also beneficial for the environment. He urged the Agriculture Department to make farmers aware about the methods of organic farming and provide them necessary training. On this occasion, MLA Anuj Sharma expressed strong reaction on the working of contractors. He said that there are many contractors in our district who leave their work incomplete. Such contractors should be blacklisted immediately. Monitoring should be done and those who are not fulfilling their responsibilities should be done. Along with this, regarding crime control in the district, the Excise Department officials were told that the sale of illegal liquor should be completely banned. For this, action should be taken against such people with the help of the police department. Who are found involved in this. MLA Guru Khuswant Saheb also talked about smooth implementation of Nal Jal Yojana. Also, emphasizing on organic farming, he said that farmers should be aware of the benefits of organic farming. For this, we should organize workshops and share the experiences of successful organic farmers.
Review of departmental schemes running in the district
In the general assembly, a detailed review of various departmental schemes running in the district was done. All the present officers presented the progress report of the schemes of their respective departments. During this, it was made clear that it is mandatory to complete the schemes within the stipulated time frame. The officers also presented measures to solve the problems. Mainly information was taken about the implementation of schemes of Women and Child Development, Education, Health, CREDA, Food, Minerals and other departments. Proposals were put forward regarding ready to eat in Anganwadi centers, dilapidated school buildings, repair of dilapidated roads and installation of gates on anicuts. The district panchayat members present in the general assembly put suggestions for development in front of MPs, MLAs and officials. Which the public representatives assured to fulfill as per the rules. District Panchayat President Domeshwari Verma, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, District Panchayat members of the district including officials of most of the departments of the district were present in the general meeting.
