State government is always with the promotion of theatre and literature: Minister Sarang
Bhopal. Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang has said that the state government is always with the promotion of theatre and literature. It will always respect the people involved in the preservation of culture, future hopes and the responsibility of giving direction to the society by walking hand in hand. Minister Shri Sarang was addressing the felicitation ceremony organized by Dr. Rajendra Kumar Public Relations and Journalism Institute Bhopal in Shaheed Bhawan. In the ceremony, this year’s Dr. Rajendra Kumar Smriti Samman was given to Additional Director of Public Relations Department G.S. Wadhwa.
Minister Shri Sarang said that it is very difficult to get any honour, it is expected that the person keeps doing better work to maintain the honour. Along with this, it also serves as a source of inspiration for the youth. It is also a big challenge for the institute to select such hardworking and dedicated people every year, which is being continuously discharged better by the institute.
Minister Shri Sarang addressed Additional Director G.S. Wadhwa was honoured by presenting him a shawl, coconut and a citation. Senior journalist Girija Shankar, Director of Nirala Srujan Peeth and senior writer Dr. Sadhana Balvate, senior theatre artist and actor Rajeev Verma, and President of the Institute Vinod Tiwari also addressed the programme. In the beginning, the guests lit the lamp and offered floral tribute to the photo of Dr. Rajendra Kumar. The programme was organised by Mrs. Apoorva Trivedi and the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Mukesh Rai. On this occasion, the play “Sardiyon ka phir wahi mausam” was staged by Chetna Rang Group Bhopal under the direction of Mr. Ashish Srivastava.
