So far, bodies of 12 uniformed Maoists, arms and explosives have been recovered in the National Park encounter

National Park Encounter, District Bijapur  Date 09/02/2025: 12 bodies of uniformed Maoists recovered so far in the National Park encounter.  A large quantity of weapons & explosives recovered from the encounter site.  The dead Naxalites are being identified.  2 Jawans martyred in the encounter.  2 other Jawans injured in the encounter.  The condition of both the injured Jawans is out of danger and they will be evacuated to a higher centre for better treatment.  Additional forces sent for re-enforcement.  Search operation is on. Detailed information will be released separately after the completion of the operation.
