Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL trophy for the third time. In the final played on Sunday, KKR defeated 2016 champion Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets. Earlier, Kolkata had won the title in 2012 and 2014. After becoming the champion, KKR team owner Shahrukh looked very happy. He kissed team mentor Gautam Gambhir on his forehead and expressed gratitude for helping him win. Not only this, as soon as Shahrukh won the match, he hugged his wife Gauri and became emotional.
KKR owner Shahrukh Khan was happy after Knight Riders won the title in Chennai on Sunday. Bollywood superstars celebrated the victory. He got emotional with daughter Suhana and sons AbRam and Aryan at the MA Chidambaram Stadium right after the winning run. Shahrukh did not delay at all in joining the team’s celebration.
Shah Rukh Khan praised Gautam Gambhir’s contribution in his first season as the Knight Riders mentor by kissing him on his forehead.
