Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the sensitivity of the officer is the basis of the success of the administration. Sensitive officers are true servants of the society and the nation. They can give a lot to the society and the nation through their work. That is why officers should always keep the feeling of sensitivity paramount in their work behavior. Governor Mangubhai Patel was addressing the probationary officers of the Indian Police Service. Director, Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Smt. Sonali Mishra was present in the program organized at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Mangubhai Patel told the officers that your parents and teachers have a special role in helping you reach this position. Every person in the society also has a direct and indirect contribution. Always remember the feeling of gratitude towards all of them in your life.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that all of you young officers are representatives of the Amrit generation committed to building a developed India. Take initiative to create such a work culture for a developed India, in which the public is not afraid of those who enforce the law, but respects the law. Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the common man considers IPS officers as protectors of law and order and officers who help in getting justice. Living up to their trust will be the criterion for the success of your work. Use your powers to empower the last person in the society and the weak person.
Awareness is necessary for the changing forms of cyber crime
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that your intelligence and knowledge are important in creating a sensitive and professional identity of the police force. Work without fear, delay and bias and inspire the police force by your own example. Governor Mangubhai Patel said that awareness and innovation are very important towards the biggest challenge of the present times, cyber crime and its changing forms. Make efforts with innovations to make the general public and especially the deprived sections aware about the latest cyber threats such as digital arrest etc.
Governor Mangubhai Patel was welcomed by trainee officer Ms. Urvashi. Director of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Mrs. Mishra greeted Governor Mangubhai Patel by presenting a memento and gave a welcome address. She informed that a total of 11 trainee officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre of the year 2022 and 2023 batch are included in the training program. Deputy Director of the Academy, Mr. Malay Jain expressed his gratitude. Additional Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Umashankar Bhargava, other officers of Raj Bhavan and concerned were present in the program.
