Sakaria airstrip inaugurated in Panna district
Bhopal. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, new records of development are being created in the state. Air services are being continuously increased to speed up the industrial development of the state. In this sequence, as per the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the newly constructed airstrip at Sakaria in Panna district was formally inaugurated on Thursday. With the inauguration of the airstrip, now air service facility will be available in Panna as well. Pilot training center will be operated here by Falcon Aviation Academy. Sakaria airstrip will also be identified separately by the name of Rudragarh.
Former minister and MLA Brijendra Pratap Singh, present on the occasion of inauguration, said that better operation of the airstrip in Panna will accelerate the development of the region. Youth eager to build a career in the aviation sector will get an opportunity to get pilot training. He said that Panna is rich in natural resources. There is a wide possibility of employment opportunities in other fields including aviation at the local level. The presence of tigers in Panna National Park has attracted tourists from all over the world. The temples of the religious city of Panna have a distinct identity. The construction of the airstrip will also promote religious tourism. Also, there is a good scope for a wellness centre here. He hoped that with the flight connectivity, Panna will be easily connected to other cities. Public representatives and eminent citizens were present in the programme.
