Former Indian cricket star and election commission icon Sachin Tendulkar stepped out to vote. He cast his ballot at Booth Number 195 in Bandra West, Mumbai, accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara. After voting, he encouraged the public to participate and cast their votes as well.November 20, voting is taking place for 288 assembly seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Amid a month-long political buzz, the public is exercising their right to vote. On this occasion, Sachin Tendulkar, along with his family, made his way to the polling booth in the Bandra West area.After casting his vote at the Mumbai Public School in the Pali Chimbai municipality, Sachin said he urges everyone to vote.
“Let’s go out and vote; it’s our duty. As an icon of the Election Commission of India, I request everyone to make sure they vote. The facilities here are quite good and will remain available throughout the day. I also hope that the administration ensures these facilities stay in place until the end. So, please make sure to cast your vote.”On this day, voting is also happening for 38 assembly seats in Jharkhand and by-elections for 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. The counting of votes for all these elections will take place on November 23.
