Rewa bypass will be made four-lane with seven meter service road: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla
Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the bypass is a very important road for Rewa city. The work of widening it in four lane has been approved. Four-lane road will be built with dividers. A 7 meter wide service lane will be built on both sides of the road so that vehicles from nearby villages do not have to go to the four lane for movement. A fly-over will be built in Chorhata so that vehicles passing through the bypass go directly to the highway. Vehicles going to the city will get entry to Chorhata Model Road from the service road. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the progress of Rewa bypass construction work in the Commissioner’s Office Auditorium.
Restore Gopad Bridge for movement from October 2
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed that all preparations related to road construction should be completed by October 31 to start the construction of four-lane road in the month of November. Try to complete the construction work within a time period of 12 months. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction of a two-lane bridge over the Gopad river has been completed. Complete its testing and restore it for traffic from October 2.
