Raipur. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand on October 15. Elections in Maharashtra will be held in one phase and votes will be cast on November 20. Notification for nomination will be issued on October 20.
Apart from this, by-elections will be held on November 13 for 47 assembly constituencies and 2 parliamentary constituencies (Wayanad). In this, voting for Raipur South assembly seat in Chhattisgarh will be held on November 13.
By-elections will be held on November 20 for 1 assembly constituency in Uttarakhand. By-elections will be held on November 20 for 1 parliamentary constituency (Nanded) in Maharashtra. Counting of votes will be held on November 23.
