Now Tribal Department’s hostels and ashram schools will be lit up with solar power
Bhopal. All hostels, ashram schools, girls education complex, sports complex and other special category institutions under the Tribal Affairs Department will now be lit up with solar power. An expenditure proposal of more than Rs 156 crore 88 lakh is being prepared and sent for approval to install solar power systems in 2,378 subordinate institutions by the Tribal Affairs Department. Installing solar power systems will also facilitate setting up e-classes (smart classes, smart labs) in all these institutions and connecting students with smart preparation for competitive examinations including school examinations with new technologies. As soon as the departmental action plan gets approval, the process of installing solar power systems in all these institutions will be started.
