Raipur Municipal Corporation Takes Action Against Stray Cattle on Roads

Raipur,In accordance with the directives issued by Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra, Raipur Municipal Corporation has launched a helpline to address the issue of stray cattle on city roads. Citizens are encouraged to contact the helpline numbers 6269066630 or 6269066612 to report sightings of stray cattle, thereby helping to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent any inconvenience.

Teams from Zones 9 and 10 of the Municipal Corporation have been actively engaging with shopkeepers in various areas to seek their cooperation in this initiative. In Zone 9, areas such as the Assembly Road and the vicinity of the Sapphire Green Residential Complex, as well as nearby shops, have been informed. Similarly, in Zone 10, shopkeepers along the Fundhar Road and VIP Road have been made aware of the helpline.

Zone Commissioners Mr. Santosh Pandey and Mr. Ramesh Jaiswal, along with Executive Engineers Mr. Padmakar Shrivas and Mr. Dinesh Sinha and Zone Health Officers Mr. Atmanand Sahu and Mr. Puran Tandi, led the awareness drive. They urged shopkeepers to support the initiative by reporting stray cattle sightings, thereby aiding in the effort to remove these animals from the roads.
