QR code issued for deaf and dumb disabled persons

bhopal: The deaf and dumb Divyangjans of the state will now be able to easily explain their point in government offices, police stations, courts through sign language. For this, a QR code based on sign language has been issued in Indian Sign Language by the Social Justice Divyangjan Welfare Department. Through this, Depth Can Foundation will provide a sign language interpreter online to each deaf and dumb applicant. Who will be able to make their point understood by the concerned officers and employees in normal language. Commissioner Social Justice and Divyang Jan-Kalyan Dr. R.R. Bhonsale released the sign-language QR code.

Commissioner Bhonsle informed that under the Accessible India Program, the Government of India has set a target to provide an easy environment to the disabled in the society. In this sequence, the Madhya Pradesh government has prepared QR codes for people in all offices. Depth Can Foundation will provide this facility through Signable Company. Ms. Preeti, Founder Associate of “Depth Can Foundation”, informed that the live interpretation provided by Signable Company will be persons registered with RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India). The interpretation done by them will also be recognized in the judicial process. The facility fee for the interpreter prepared by the Rehabilitation Council of India will be provided by the Social Justice Department of Madhya Pradesh Government together. The disabled will get this facility free of cost.
