Prime Minister Shri Modi will launch various industrial policies of the state in GIS: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday chaired the meeting of the apex committee constituted for the systematic and better organization of the Global Investors Summit 2025 to be held on 24th and 25th February at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya campus in Bhopal at Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence). He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also launch all the latest industrial policies of Madhya Pradesh by inaugurating the two-day GIS on 24th February at around 10 am. He informed that Prime Minister Shri Modi will also visit the MP Experience Zone to be set up in the GIS campus. In this zone, a coordinated combination and display of Madhya Pradesh’s heritage, progress so far and future aspirations will be done in the form of an immersive digital walk-through. The Chief Minister directed the officials that all departments should work in better coordination and harmony to make the GIS grand, well-organized and result-oriented.
Make the event historic
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the Global Investors Summit is being organised with the objective of strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s economy and attracting investors from the country and abroad. Therefore, all preparations should be made on a large scale to make the event historic. There should be no management related shortcomings in organising the GIS.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the preparations for the Global Investors Summit in detail and directed the officials to effectively present all the investor friendly industrial policies of the state, the extensive infrastructure and possibilities available for industries in Madhya Pradesh to easily attract investors. He said that to make Madhya Pradesh an industry friendly state, all the necessary assistance and facilities required by the investors should be provided.
Investors from home and abroad are our special guests
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the officials that the investors coming to Bhopal from the country and abroad for GIS are our special guests, so they should be welcomed and greeted with pure Indian hospitality tradition. To make these two days memorable, Madhya Pradesh’s culture, its hospitality tradition, various art products, food, cuisine etc. should be specially displayed, so that the investors go back with a wonderful experience of staying in Madhya Pradesh for two days. The Chief Minister directed to do attractive beautification of Bhopal’s ponds and the entire city. He said that sailing and e-battery operated boats should be operated in the big lake, so that investors and other participants can enjoy the unique natural beauty of Bhopal.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the officials that this summit will give a new dimension to industrial development in the state and employment opportunities will also increase. He instructed to make special efforts to provide better facilities to investors and implement smooth processes.
It was told in the meeting that participants from more than 60 countries will participate in GIS. A total of 133 foreign participants will participate in this, including the Deputy Minister of Zimbabwe, Ambassadors of 10 countries, High Commissioners of 8 countries, Consulate Generals of 7 countries. More than 300 Chairmen, MDs and CEOs of leading companies of India, including leading industrialists of the country, will also participate in GIS. 6 departmental conferences, 6 country sessions and 10 sectoral sessions will also be organized in GIS. It was told that so far 31 thousand 659 participants have registered in various categories in GIS. Out of these, more than 18 thousand 736 participants have also given consent to come to Bhopal. Officials also informed that all the products of ‘One District-One Product’ category will be displayed in the GIS event complex itself. A complete village is being prepared for this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed satisfaction over the preparations made so far for GIS and said that we should all work together to make Bhopal an ideal investment destination on the world stage. GIS is going to be a gift for Bhopal.

In this meeting organized regarding the preparations of Global Investors Summit, all the public representatives of Bhopal district expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal city. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this GIS will also increase employment opportunities for the youth of Bhopal district. He asked Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang to organize water sports in the big and small lakes of Bhopal city during GIS. This will help investors and participants coming here from the country and abroad to connect with Bhopal in a friendly manner. He said that participation and cooperation of the citizens of Bhopal is necessary to make GIS successful. The Sports Minister gave information about the activities related to active participation of citizens to make GIS successful in Bhopal city. Other public representatives of Bhopal district present in the meeting also gave their suggestions about GIS and said that Bhopal will welcome all investors and participants with open arms.
