President Murmu did Shramdaan for cleanliness in Shrimahakal premises
Bhopal. President Draupadi Murmu today visited Baba Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain and did Shramdaan for cleanliness in the temple premises under the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ fortnight. She also swept near Kotitirth in the temple premises. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also participated in Shramdaan for cleanliness. President Smt. Murmu also had darshan of the peak of Shrimahakaleshwar temple from Kotitirth.
Visited Shrimahakal Lok, appreciated the craftsmanship of the artisans
After visiting Shrimahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, President Smt. Murmu sat in an e-cart and visited Shrimahakal Lok and saw various idols. She praised the construction of Shrimahakal Lok and the craftsmanship installed there.
Batuks welcomed with Vedic chants and blowing of conches
During the Srimahakal Lok Yatra of President Smt. Murmu, a 45-member Batuk group welcomed her with Vedic chants and blowing of conches near the statue of Neelkanth Mahadev. Folk artists welcomed the President by presenting Kathi dance near Shiv-Barat Shilp, Bhagoria dance near Kalbhairav statue and Gangaur dance near Durlabh Darshan Kendra. President Smt. Murmu greeted the artists.
