Bhopal. Under the aegis of Central Power Ministry, Power Finance Corporation, an all India level training cum knowledge sharing session was organized in Leh regarding RDSS and other important electricity projects and best practices. Smart Meter Project Director of Madhya Pradesh West Region Electricity Distribution Company Indore, Mr. Ravi Mishra and RDSS Project Director Mr. SL Karwadiya participated in it. They gave information about the work and efforts being done in Indore region on important topics like fulfillment of government and consumer interests through smart meters, consumer satisfaction, reducing line loss, increasing revenue collection, improvement in supply and the pre-paid electricity supply process proposed in the near future, implementation of RDSS scheme, solar energy scheme for population and agricultural sector, efforts to reduce electricity purchase rate, load management in Rabi season etc.
