Sukma. Once again the cowardly act of Naxalites has come to light in Chhattisgarh. Today, after setting up a new security camp in Tekalgudem village on the border area of Sukma and Bijapur, there was an encounter between the security forces who were out on patrol and the Naxalites, in which 3 soldiers were martyred. There are 14 soldiers injured.
According to the information received from the police, after setting up the camp, the Maoists opened fire on the Cobra/STF/DRG force personnel who were on patrol in Jonaguda-Aliguda area. The security forces also retaliated by giving a befitting reply to the firing by Maoists. Seeing the increasing pressure from the security forces, the Maoists fled under the cover of the forest. Three soldiers have been martyred in this encounter. There are 14 soldiers injured. The condition of the injured soldiers is out of danger. Everyone is being sent to Raipur for treatment.
