Chief Minister’s message on World Cancer Day: Adopt a healthy lifestyle, prevent cancer

Awareness, timely examination and correct treatment are the mantras to prevent cancer – Chief Minister Sai
Raipur 3 February 2025: On the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has appealed to the people of the state to be aware of serious diseases like cancer and to get timely examination and treatment. He said that this day gives us an opportunity to make the public aware about the prevention, early identification and effective treatment of cancer. Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is committed to the prevention and treatment of cancer. Many important steps have been taken to strengthen health services in Chhattisgarh. Cancer examination and treatment facilities are being expanded in government hospitals, so that patients can get accessible and affordable treatment. Chief Minister Sai said that cancer can be prevented by awareness, regular examination and adopting a healthy lifestyle. The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle by staying away from unhealthy lifestyle and food and said that a healthy lifestyle is the basis of longevity and healthy life.
