Raipur. Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana is proving to be a boon for the people of special backward tribal class. Under this, the people of these communities are getting the direct benefit of the public welfare schemes of the government. The good governance government of the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Vishnudev Sai, is working with determination to fulfill the dream of owning a permanent house of the economically weaker people.

Under the PM Janman Yojana, the dream of owning a permanent house of Shri Puran Singh, a beneficiary of special backward tribal community Birhor class of Gudrumuda of Podi-Uporda development block, a remote area of ​​​​Korba district, has come true. The beneficiary expressed his happiness on the completion of the house and said that Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana has changed his condition and direction. Under the scheme, he got approval for housing in the year 2023-24. Housing construction was started as soon as the documents were completed at the Panchayat level. As soon as he received 40 thousand rupees as the first installment, his hopes of building a house started getting confirmed. He started the construction of the house on the basis of technical guidance. As the construction of the house progressed, the installment amount was received on the basis of progress and soon his dream home was completed. The beneficiary told that he was also paid wages under MNREGA for working in the construction of the house.

Recalling the difficulties of his old days, the beneficiary tells that he is an agricultural laborer. He takes care of his family by doing daily wage labor. Before the construction of the house, his family used to live in a kutcha hut-like house. Where it was very difficult to live. According to the weather, many hardships had to be faced. In the rainy season, water used to drip from the roof, dampness in the walls, as well as in the winter, sleep could not be done at night due to cold. Along with this, there was a fear of poisonous insects, snakes, scorpions etc. throughout the year. Now, after getting a pucca house, these problems of his have gone away. Now he is sleeping peacefully with his family in a concrete house. Having a house with a concrete roof has increased his prestige in the society. He is living happily with his family in the new house. Beneficiary Shri Puran Singh told that his family is getting the benefit of various ambitious schemes of the government. Under which his wife is getting assistance of Rs 01 thousand per month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Similarly, he is also getting benefits from other schemes like work in Employment Guarantee Scheme MNREGA, Tendu collection, Kisan Pension Scheme, Ayushman Card, Ration Card. Due to which the income of his family is increasing. Expressing gratitude to the district administration for his economic and social growth, he expressed heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of the state Shri Vishnudev Sai for fulfilling the dream of a home of special backward tribal families.

It is worth mentioning that the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi has started the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana to provide cent percent benefit of various public welfare schemes of the government to the special backward tribal families. Under this, the special backward tribal families are being benefited on priority basis from schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas, Ayushman Card, Jan Dhan Account, Nal Jal, Ajeevika, Skill Development, Ujjwala and others.
