Pay close attention to quality while making International Sports Complex state-of-the-art: Minister Shri Sarang

Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang has said that to make the International Sports Complex at Nathu Barkheda state-of-the-art, attention should be paid to quality. He directed to make systematic planning of parking, cafeteria, water supply, ring road, fire safety, water harvesting etc. He also asked to include temporary parking and solar plant in the plan. Minister Shri Sarang was reviewing the progress of construction work of Nathu Barkheda International Sports Complex at T.T. Nagar Sports Stadium on Friday.
Build multiple gates for traffic
Minister Shri Sarang also asked to build multiple gates in the sports complex, so that movement is easy. He said that there should be signage on the same theme in the sports complex, for which the same color and same font should be used. Minister Shri Sarang also asked to make proper arrangements for office space. Minister Shri Sarang directed to build access road to the parking and provide connectivity.
80 percent work of sports complex is complete
Minister Shri Sarang said that about 80 percent of the work of the International Sports Complex under construction has been completed as per international standards and the remaining work is being completed speedily and with high quality. He directed the construction agencies to complete the quality work as soon as possible.
The sports complex will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
Minister Shri Sarang directed to expedite the construction works of athletics stadium, lighting system, practice hockey field, warm-up track, parking, football field, water and sewage treatment plant and others. He also saw the presentation of the construction details of the project and discussed the technical aspects with the officials.
Minister Shri Sarang said that the construction of this fully equipped sports complex will establish a new dimension for sports in Madhya Pradesh. The players here will get all the facilities from training to competitions in the same complex, which will strengthen them to compete at the national and international level.
Sports Director Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Joint Director Mr. B.S. Yadav, Deputy Secretary Mr. Ajay Srivastava along with engineers, project managers and other officials were present in the meeting.
