‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’: Thousands of students will discuss with PM Modi
Delhi. More than one crore people have so far registered for the seventh edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme. This year this program will be organized on 29 January from 11 am at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan. About 4,000 participants will interact with the Prime Minister in the program.
It is being told that till Friday, more than 90 lakh students, more than eight lakh teachers and about two lakh parents had registered. The Prime Minister will interact with students, teachers and parents from across the country and abroad.
Two students and one teacher from each State and Union Territory and winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha Competition can be invited as special guests for the main event. Around 2,050 participants will be selected based on their questions on the ‘MyGov’ portal and will be provided a special ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ kit.
A senior official of the Education Ministry said that widespread enthusiasm is being seen among students across the country regarding PPC. The first PPC was held in 2018, where 22,000 participants registered and last year the number increased to over 38 lakh.
