He said that only the BJP government can do the work of distributing houses to the poor by making the worker who was entrusted with the leadership of the movement to get the poor their houses, a minister. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, out of the country’s target for specially protected tribes, only Chhattisgarh has got 51% roads. As against the length of 4781 km in the country, only 2449 km of road length was approved in Chhattisgarh state. Atami said that to raise the standard of living in rural areas, BJP has influenced every aspect of rural areas, whether it is agriculture, farming, horticulture, roads, cows, Gram Panchayat or rural life, in public interest. He said that to raise the standard of living of tribal brothers, we purchased tendu leaves at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard sack, due to which 12 lakh families got additional income of 240 crores and the cabinet decided to restart the distribution of Charan Paduka. He said that today the farmer of Chhattisgarh is doing farming not for food, but for the treasury. We gave them the bonus for the paddy due for the last 2 years and paddy is being purchased at the rate of 21 quintals per acre at the rate of Rs. 3100 per quintal.

Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are depositing Rs. 1000 per month directly in the accounts of 70 lakh women. The BJP government has decided to hand over the Ready to Eat Yojana, which was fraudulently taken away from the women’s group, back to the women’s self-help groups and it has also started under the pilot project in five districts. Work on 200 Mahtari Sadan is being started so that women get their own place. He told that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Ji has started giving 10 thousand rupees annually to landless labourers – 562 crore rupees to 562000 labourers under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana. He told in detail that many schemes in which 989 lakh man days were given in the last one year in which 40 lakh people of more than 23 lakh families were given work. Atami said that the public has full faith in BJP and the double engine government of the center and the state will work for the welfare and development of the people by being a four engine government in the Panchayat and urban bodies and for this, all the 33 district panchayats of the state are working with full attention in 146 districts and 11672 gram panchayat areas, due to which the public’s faith in BJP is strong.
