Rishikesh . Offline registrations for Chardham Yatra started once again in Rishikesh and Haridwar from Sunday. On Sunday, offline registration of 3000 devotees was done in Rishikesh and 1775 in Haridwar. On May 13, the administration had banned offline registration in view of the increasing number of devotees.

Passengers arriving after May 14 will be registered in the second phase. Online registrations for Chardham Yatra are already full till June. Offline registrations were also closed from May 13. In such a situation, passengers in Rishikesh were worried. The administration identified the passengers staying and prepared their list. After this, they were lined up sequentially at the registration counter and the forms were filled.

3 kilometer long line for darshan in Badrinath
A three kilometer long line of devotees was seen for darshan in Badrinath on Sunday. There was a queue of pilgrims on the darshan path from Singhdwar on Sunday. According to local people, for the first time a three km long line of passengers was seen. Devotees were seen standing in queues for darshan even in the rain, wearing raincoats.

2 devotees who came on Yamunotri pilgrimage died
Two devotees who had come to visit Yamunotri temple died late Saturday night. The deceased have been identified as Kamleshbhai Patel, 53, from Gujarat and Rohini Kishan Dalvi, 54, from Maharashtra. So far 14 devotees have died during the Yamunotri Yamunotri pilgrimage.
