Raipur. In the context of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, General Observers and Expenditure Observers held a meeting of Nodal Officers and AROs in the Collectorate Hall. Addressing the meeting, General Observer Rohan Chand Thakur said that the most important thing is that EVMs should be maintained properly. This remains under the responsibility of authorized officers and employees. It should not fall into the hands of any unauthorized person. Ensure that the mock poll data is compulsorily deleted. Do not be lax in any way in this so that a situation of repolling does not arise. General Observer Shri Sanjay Kumar said that voting is to be held in Raipur Lok Sabha on 7th May, all AROs should complete necessary preparations in their assembly constituencies. Ensure basic facilities like drinking water, toilets etc. in polling stations. He said that whatever problem there may be, bring it to your senior officers and do not keep it limited to yourself. Also, complaints must be resolved within the time limit.

Police Observer IPS Bipin Shankarrao Ahire said that keep in mind the small matters from the beginning. There will be no further mistakes. It is mandatory to follow safety related instructions. In case any problem arises, inform the authorities. Expenditure Observer Shri Ranvijay Kumar directed the officers involved in the election work of all other departments including Revenue and Police Department to work in coordination with each other and participate in the election process. Expenditure Observer Shri Ashtanand Pathak instructed the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee to be alert, to take action against illegal seizure of 2 billion rupees at the check post and misappropriation of property.

He told that this time all the booths of North Assembly are pink booths. Among them, from ARO to presiding officer and employees will be women. SSP Shri Santosh Singh said that all security provisions have been ensured during the elections and adequate number of security forces will be deployed. IT Nodal Ujjwal Porwal said that video clippings of state level master trainers are being shown in the training and a voting song has also been prepared which has been given in the WhatsApp group of the employees.
