Oath taking ceremony of newly elected Mayor and Councillors of Raipur Municipal Corporation completed

Raipur, 27 February 2025: The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Mayor and Councillors of Municipal Corporation, Raipur was held today at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Raipur in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh administered the ward-wise oath to the Mayor and all the councillors. Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey took oath in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated all the newly elected public representatives and expressed confidence that the newly elected Mayor and Councillors will fulfill every promise made in the Atal Vishwas Patra and work with determination towards making Raipur a clean, well-organized and prosperous city. After the oath taking ceremony, Mayor Meenal Choubey honored Chief Minister Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma, Ministers, former Mayors and special guests by presenting them mementos. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister OP Choudhary, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, MLAs Rajesh Munat, Kiran Dev, Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Anuj Sharma, former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agarwal and many public representatives were present in the function. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra expressed his gratitude to all the guests, public representatives and city residents.
