There was a time when not having one’s own house was a cause of worry and living in a rented house caused financial problems, but we thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. Who brought happiness in the lives of lakhs of families by giving the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for poor families. This is the statement of Mathpuraina resident Vidhan Chakraborty. Vidhan is an electrician by profession and Mr. Chakraborty says that not having one’s own house was a big problem. My family used to live in a rented house earlier. Earlier my family used to live in a rented house in Bhairo Nagar. Due to which I had to pay five to six thousand rupees rent every month. I came to know about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. I applied to avail the benefits of this scheme and after applying I was allotted a flat in the EWS colony located in Mathpuraina. Along with this, I also got subsidy on buying it. He says that having one’s own house has brought a new hope and stability. By getting a permanent house, people are feeling secure and their worries about the future have also gone away. He tells that Shri Vidhan Chakraborty says that the houses being provided to homeless families through this scheme have not only raised the standard of living of the people but are also providing them a safe and permanent residence. Shri Chakraborty also says that the peace that one gets in one’s own house is not there in a rented house.
