The company has confirmed their launch through a post on social media platform X. Earlier it was being speculated that the company will launch the successor device of Ear (2) with the name Ear (3). But now it has been confirmed that the wearable will be launched with the name Nothing Ear. Whereas, Nothing Ear (a) will be offered as a cheaper alternative to Ear (2).

If the upcoming Nothing Ear A is launched as a cheaper version of the Nothing Ear, it could compete with Nothing’s own sub-brand CMF, which also sells affordable TWS audio products. Its price in India is between Rs 2,499 to Rs 3,499. The company can launch Nothing Ear for around Rs 10,000 while Nothing Ear a can be launched for around Rs 5,000.

Nothing Ear (2) earbuds are offered with 24bit Hi-Res Audio and LHDC 5.0 technology. The user gets the facility of custom sound tuning in the buds. Buds can be purchased in black and white color options. Nothing Ear (2) are lightweight earbuds at 4.5 g, equipped with 11.6 mm custom drivers. Earbuds have active noise cancellation and listening time of up to 36 hours.
