Gariaband. Deepak Kumar Agarwal, the newly appointed Collector of Gariaband district, assumed his charge at the district office here today. 2016 batch IAS Deepak Kumar Aggarwal has been appointed as the 12th Collector of Gariaband district. During the assumption of charge, district level officers and employees welcomed Collector Shri Aggarwal by presenting him a bouquet. The Collector had an introductory discussion with the officials present on the spot. Also took general information about the ongoing works in the district. On this occasion, Collector Shri Aggarwal, while discussing with the officials regarding furthering the pace of development of the district, said that 100 percent and better implementation of the government schemes will be his priority. The common people in the district will be benefited from PM Janman Yojana, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and other public welfare schemes of the government. The newly appointed Collector Mr. Aggarwal had earlier been posted as Deputy Secretary in Raj Bhavan and State Election Commission. During this, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Rita Yadav, Additional Collector Avinash Bhoi, Deputy District Election Officer Teerthraj Aggarwal, all SDMs and other departmental officers were present.
