Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone for a new hostel at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Manduwala, offering his best wishes to the students. He emphasized that this hostel will be more than just a place to stay; it will foster a supportive learning environment, promote discipline, and contribute to the students’ overall development. The event highlighted the vital role of institutions like Saraswati Shishu Mandir in reviving nationalistic and cultural values in post-independence India, focusing not only on academics but also on character building and instilling a strong sense of Indian identity.

100% Success in 10th & 12th: A Testament to Hard Work and Dedication- The Chief Minister congratulated the students of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Manduwala, for achieving a 100% pass rate in the recent 10th and 12th board examinations. This success, he noted, is a result of the students’ hard work, the teachers’ commitment, and the support of their parents. Such results demonstrate the power of combining academics with values and discipline. The new hostel is expected to further enhance the learning environment, leading to even better results in the years to come. It’s a shining example of how a supportive ecosystem contributes to academic excellence.

Transforming Education: From NEP to PM SHRI Schools- Uttarakhand has been at the forefront of educational reform. The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s early adoption of the National Education Policy (NEP), aiming to move beyond rote learning towards a more practical and ethical approach to education. The state is actively developing 141 PM SHRI schools and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose residential schools, along with providing virtual classrooms in 500 schools across 13 districts. This commitment to smart education aims to bridge the gap between government and private schools, ensuring quality education for all.

NCERT Books Made Mandatory: A Step Towards Uniformity and Quality- To ensure consistent quality education, NCERT textbooks have been made mandatory in all government schools across Uttarakhand. This step will not only standardize education across the state but also better prepare students for various exams and competitions. It demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving both the infrastructure and the educational content. This move is designed to boost student confidence and prepare them for higher education opportunities nationwide.

Vidya Samiksha Kendra Model: Uttarakhand Leads the Way- Uttarakhand has become the first state in India to adopt the Vidya Samiksha Kendra model, inspired by Gujarat. This innovative model connects nearly 16,000 schools across the state, providing real-time progress updates on schools, teachers, and students. The plan is to eventually include all private schools, creating a centralized and transparent education system. This initiative will significantly improve monitoring and facilitate necessary improvements in the education system.

Vidya Bharati’s Expanding Reach: Impacting Thousands of Students- The Chief Minister commended Vidya Bharati, the organization running Saraswati Vidya Mandir and similar institutions, for their efforts in providing quality education. Vidya Bharati operates over 12,000 schools nationwide, educating approximately 3.5 million students. These institutions focus not only on modern education but also on instilling nationalistic values, ethics, and Indian culture, producing well-rounded individuals who are both academically successful and responsible citizens. This holistic approach provides a strong foundation for India’s future.
