Chief Minister attended the 76th NCC Day celebrations
Raipur 24 November 2024: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today attended the 76th NCC Day celebrations organized at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur. Addressing the NCC Day celebrations, Chief Minister Sai said that NCC awakens the spirit of patriotism and discipline among the youth and strengthens national unity. The Chief Minister took the salute of the parade of NCC cadets. In the NCC Day program, the students of NCC performed march past, cultural programs along with a beautiful presentation of horse riding, aero modeling, section movement, Seema Four. The Chief Minister rewarded the cadets who performed excellently. Also released the book published on the occasion of 76th NCC Day celebrations.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai congratulated everyone on the 76th NCC Day and said that today once again I have got the opportunity to come among you people. Whenever I come among you people, I get filled with new energy. Today on NCC Day, you people did a wonderful parade march, aero modeling demonstration, horse riding demonstration and section attack demonstration. I am also filled with enthusiasm by your performance.
Chief Minister Sai said that I remember very well that when our cadets returned after participating in the Republic Day parade held in New Delhi, then also I met you people. It is very pleasant to see the NCC cadets of Chhattisgarh parading on the duty path of New Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day.
The Chief Minister said that when our cadets salute the tricolor while walking step by step with the NCC cadets from different states of India, then every Chhattisgarhi is filled with pride. This is the beauty of our country. Despite being from different languages and different regions, the feeling of patriotism is filled in all of us. NCC nurtures this patriotism, strengthens national unity.
The Chief Minister said that NCC is an organization that teaches discipline to the youth, builds their character, makes them courageous and inspires them for selfless service. The motto of NCC is ‘Unity and Discipline’. NCC inspires our youth to make their career in the army and other security forces.
To inspire the youth to build a career in the army, you must have seen the grand military exhibition organized in the capital Raipur a few days ago. The Chief Minister said that I am also very happy to see that the participation of girls in NCC is increasing. Many girls battalions are being run in the state, it is a matter of great happiness. Our daughters have increased the pride of Chhattisgarh by leading the NCC from national to international level. India is the youngest country in the world. Today the whole world is praising the achievements of India. Youth definitely have the biggest participation in these achievements.
The Chief Minister said that our illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the goal of building a developed India before the country by the year 2047. With the contribution of our energetic youth, we will definitely achieve the goal of developed Chhattisgarh and developed India. The Chief Minister said that many of these cadets will make their career in the army. We have made special provisions for Agniveers in our new industrial policy. Education has been linked to skill development in the new education policy. So that you people can serve the country through various fields.
NCC cadets should be given training in air flying in the airstrips of Bilaspur, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Jashpur along with Raipur
Chief Minister Sai said that at present our NCC cadets are given experience and training in air flying in Raipur, the expenses of which are borne by the Chhattisgarh government. In the state, along with Raipur, there are airstrips in Bilaspur, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Jashpur, this training can be started there as well. This will also benefit the cadets of these areas.
Major General Vikant M. Dhumne said that 900 NCC cadets from Chhattisgarh have been selected in Agniveer, which reflects the high quality training of the cadets here.
School Education Department Secretary Siddharth Komal Pardesi, Brigadier Y.S. Chauhan, S.M. NCC Group Commander, Additional Director General of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Major General Vikant M. Dhumne, Administrative Officer Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Kumar, NCC cadets from various colleges, schools, besides military officers, NCC officers, PI staff, dignitaries were present in the program.
