National News: These railway stations of Chhattisgarh will be transformed, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone on 26th
Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation by laying the foundation stone and inaugurating about 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 41000 crore on Monday 26 February at 12.30 pm through video conferencing.
On this occasion, a program has been organized at Raipur Railway Station. Raipur MP Sunil Soni and MLAs will also be present in the programme.
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for redevelopment of 553 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. In Chhattisgarh, the foundation stone and inauguration of Road Over Bridge and Road Under Bridge will be done under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of about Rs 2,700 crore.

These stations being redeveloped include Sarona, Mandir Hasaud, Hathbandh, Nipaniya, Bhatapara, Dongargarh, Korba, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Bhilai Nagar, Bilha, Baikunthpur Road, Ambikapur, Uslapur, Pendra Road, Janjgir Naila, Champa, Baradwar, Dallirajhar, Bhanupratappur. And Bhilai station is included. At the same time, along with 21 stations, 83 road over bridges and road under bridges will be constructed.
Passengers will get modern facilities at these stations
Modern passenger facilities will be available at these stations. These include rooftop plaza, beautiful landscaping, inter modal connectivity, improved modern facade, children’s play area, kiosk, food court etc. Along with this, environment and disabled friendly resources will also be available here.
