Municipal Corporation launched Dry Day and Cleanliness Adoption, Bimari Bhagao campaign

Raipur. The health department of Municipal Corporation Raipur, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and the instructions of Municipal Corporation Raipur Commissioner Abinash Mishra, launched Dry Day and Cleanliness Adoption, Bimari Bhagao campaign in different wards of different zones of the Municipal Corporation and made the citizens aware about mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, malaria, waterborne disease diarrhoea. On the instructions of Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Shri Rajendra Prasad Gupta, Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi, the zone health officers in all the zones, with the help of Swachhata Didi, went door-to-door and made the residents aware by giving information about the symptoms, prevention and treatment of dengue, malaria, diarrhoea. Dry Day and Cleanliness Adopt Bimari Bhagao Abhiyan is being run in all the wards under the leadership of Chief Minister of the state Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Arun Saw, under the leadership of Mayor Shri Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman Shri Pramod Dubey, Health Department Chairman Shri Nagbhushan Rao, all MIC members, zone presidents, ward councilors. Dry Day and Cleanliness Adopt Bimari Bhagao Abhiyan is being run in all the wards every week on Saturday to make the citizens aware about health. In the campaign, residents are being made aware about dengue, malaria, diarrhea by cooperating with Swachhata Didi. Today, under the Dry Day and Cleanliness Adopt Bimari Bhagao Abhiyan, women were made aware about health by going door to door in Govind Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Lakhenagar, Shanti Nagar, New Shanti Nagar, Geetanjali Nagar and other settlements and mohallas. The water filled in the window coolers of the houses was immediately emptied from the citizens and anti-larva treatment was done in it. Anti-larva treatment campaign was run in various mohallas and settlements. Citizens were appealed to not let water stagnate anywhere in and around their homes, for this, pay special attention to cleanliness. Dengue mosquitoes breed in stagnant clean water. Use mosquito nets while sleeping and wear full-sleeved clothes. Sprinkle Mobil oil or burnt lamp oil in the drains from time to time, so that mosquito larvae do not breed in the drain. Additional Commissioner Rajendra Prasad Gupta, Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi has once again made a humble appeal to all citizens to immediately go to the nearest government hospital in case of fever and get examined by a government doctor and get health benefits.
