Mp News : Quick action on the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister to increase stipend

On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, orders for approval of increase in monthly stipend of junior doctors of Government Medical College have been issued by the Public Health and Medical Education Department.

Diploma/PG First year monthly stipend increased from Rs 69 thousand 115 to Rs 72 thousand 633, Diploma/P.G. Monthly stipend for second year is Rs 71 thousand 241 to Rs 74 thousand 867, super specialty first, second and third year and P.G. Monthly stipend of third year is Rs 73 thousand 368 to Rs 77 thousand 102, monthly stipend of intern is Rs 12 thousand 760 to Rs 13 thousand 409, monthly stipend of senior resident is Rs 80 thousand 811 to Rs 84 thousand 924 and monthly stipend of junior resident is Rs 56. An increase from Rs 355,000 to Rs 59,223 has been approved by the department. This increase has been scheduled from April 1, 2023.

Upgradation of medical teachers of MGM Indore to senior posts

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla has given priority to both the components of infrastructure development and manpower management in strengthening the medical education and health system in the state. Adequate availability of medical staff and their interests have been given importance in the departmental review meeting and discussion with experts. In the same sequence, on the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla, the pending issue of upgradation of medical teachers of MGM Indore to senior posts was resolved immediately. Orders have been issued to upgrade 12 medical teachers of various departments to senior posts.
