Mp News : PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is the honor of farmers
Farmers are those who feed the hungry. Farmers provide food to humans and animals by growing grains. No matter how much respect they are given, it is less. Even the farmers who nourish us all used to get into trouble from time to time. Our farmers used to experience pain due to damage to standing crops due to bad weather or wrath of nature and lack of money needed for farming. But it is not so now. On the sensitive initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the scheme of giving ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ has been implemented to provide financial support to the farmers. In this scheme, a cash amount of Rs 6 thousand is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers by the Central Government. With this amount, farmers purchase fertilizers, seeds, treat soil and fertilizers in their fields, spray pesticides and do other farming related work. This amount is given in the form of ‘Samman Nidhi’ to increase the prestige of food donors. Crores of farmers and their families of the country are benefiting from this Samman Nidhi of the Central Government.
Lakhs of farmers of Madhya Pradesh are continuously receiving this Samman Nidhi. Hemant Patel, a farmer from Sadguwan in Damoh district, says that this Samman Nidhi is like a boon for every farmer and a big honor for lakhs of small section farmers like him. Mr. Harishchandra Patel, a farmer resident of Luharra in the same district, says that whenever he needs fertilizer and seeds, he gets the installment of Samman Nidhi at that time. We do not need to take loan from anyone. Sanjay Sen, a farmer of Takhala village of Agar-Malwa district, says that he is getting the installment of Samman Nidhi regularly. This has provided them great relief in meeting their needs of manure, seeds, medicines, fertilizers and other needs. Now they are doing farming with full hard work and dedication. This Samman Nidhi is also proving to be very helpful for farmer Jagdish Bagdawat of Kulmarhi village of the same district. With this, they have become fully capable of meeting their farming costs and immediate needs. Now they do not take loan from any moneylender for farming. He says that farming has now become a profitable deal in the true sense. For this he never forgets to express his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
