Mp News : Announced to include Nohta Mahadev Mahotsav in the calendar of the Culture Department.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts and Endowments Dharmendra Singh Lodhi inaugurated the Nohaleshwar Mahadev Mahotsav in Nohta. He said that it is a matter of happiness that this festival has been restarted by the Culture Department. In the coming times, this program will be even more divine and grand. The Minister of State for Culture announced to add Nohta Mahadev Mahotsav in the calendar of the Culture Department and organize the program every year. Minister of State for Culture Shri Lodhi said that this is just the beginning, this program will be given more grandeur in the next session. Culture Minister released the books “Mera Bachpan-Mera Gaon” and “Lahjein Badal Rahe Hain” written by Shri Nanhe Singh.

In the festival, Badhaai folk dance by Umesh Kumar Namdev, Bundeli singing by Ms. Urmila Pandey and Mahadev Leela drama presentation were given by eminent artists. Mahadev Leela Natay has been written by Bhagwati Lal Rajpurohit-Ujjain. In the Mahadev Leela dance-drama, the artists depicted the scenes of killing of Tripurasur, churning of the ocean, marriage of Shiva and descent of Ganga. Along with this, local artists and artists of Anhat Kala Kendra also gave captivating presentations.
