Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will begin the 10th and 12th board exams on February 24. This year, students will be required to solve the entire question paper in the main answer sheet, which will be 32 pages long. Until now, the answer sheet was only 20 pages. Additionally, the main page of the answer sheet will have a barcode to prevent any tampering. Students will not receive a supplementary sheet. On Monday, a meeting was held with officials from MPBSE and the School Education Department to discuss preparations for the board exams. Cheating to Be Penalized for Torn Answer Sheets This year, around 16.61 lakh students will appear for the exams. In addition, approximately 45,000 officials, teachers, and staff members will be involved in the exam process. The meeting also decided that if an answer sheet’s stitching is torn or broken, it will be considered an attempt to cheat, and action will be taken. Several steps are being taken to prevent cheating, including increased security during the transportation and distribution of question papers.
If an answer sheet is found to have broken or loose stitching, or if the page count is incorrect, it will not be evaluated, and a cheating case will be filed. Exam officials will also ensure that no student receives a damaged answer sheet.
