Maintain essential facilities for passengers going to Prayagraj Maha Kumbh as long as the fair continues: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that devotees going from Madhya Pradesh to Prayagraj Mahakumbh should be provided smooth transport, accommodation, food and medical facilities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to the divisional officers through video conference from Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence). Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also took district-wise information about the arrangements. He instructed that the necessary arrangements should be maintained for the duration of Mahakumbh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has decided to give state honors to the persons who donate their bodies.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with senior administrative, police officers and public representatives of Rewa, Sidhi, Maihar, Satna, Mauganj districts and directed them to make necessary arrangements to take full care of the devotees. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla also participated in the discussion from Rewa. Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura was present in the video conference.
Disaster management has been good, management should be good on Magh Purnima too
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Magh Purnima is on 12 February. On this day, bathing in Ganga ji and charity are considered auspicious, devotees would like to visit Prayagraj in large numbers. Necessary arrangements should be ensured for this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the administrative staff of the district has done disaster management work efficiently. Such arrangements should be maintained in the coming days as well. For this, full cooperation of public representatives and social organizations should be obtained.

In the last week of January, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had given instructions to provide facilities to the pilgrims going for Maha Kumbh in the districts of Rewa division. In the video conference, the public representatives of Rewa division thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav while appreciating his farsightedness and working style. The public representatives said that when the number of pilgrims increased for the first time in Prayagraj on January 29, the work of providing food, drinking water, health care including night shelters was done well in the border districts of Uttar Pradesh. Due to these arrangements, a disaster situation did not arise. Arrangements for keeping vehicles on hold and sending them off in a phased manner were also made in the districts of Jabalpur division including Rewa division.
Major instructions given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
All essential facilities should be provided to passengers going to Prayagraj Maha Kumbh.
Arrangements for food and accommodation of travellers should be made in Chitrakoot also.
Cooperation should be sought from social organizations for necessary arrangements at Maihar and places of local religious importance.
Find a solution considering the situation of large number of devotees going there. If necessary
Build a control room. No laxity should be shown in this work.
Doctors and paramedical staff should also be available for the passengers if required.
The arrangements made earlier are satisfactory. Such arrangements should continue till the completion of Prayagraj Maha Kumbh.
