Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has congratulated and wished the people of the state on the occasion of World Tourism Day. He invited tourists to visit Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government has made a lot of development in the field of tourism in the state. The first feature of Madhya Pradesh is that it is located in the middle of the country as the heartland and it is called Madhya Pradesh due to its geographical position. Being located in the middle of the country, it is convenient for tourists to come to Madhya Pradesh from any corner of the country. Due to the wide roads, bridges, roads to mountains and villages in Madhya Pradesh, tourists can easily visit tourist places.
Madhya Pradesh is a Tiger State
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, cheetahs brought from South Africa and Namibia have been relocated to Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. Natural beauty, rivers, mountains, greenery and the vast forest areas and the wild animals roaming freely in them in Madhya Pradesh captivate tourists. Madhya Pradesh has 7 tiger reserves, 11 national parks and 25 sanctuaries.

A large number of tourists, not only from the country but also from abroad, come to see the Sandipani Ashram Ujjain, which was the centre of education of Lord Krishna as a historical heritage, Pachmarhi, the place where the Pandavas lived in exile, Khajuraho temple built by the Chandela kings, which exhibits unmatched sculptures. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that out of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the country, Mahakal Jyotirlinga Ujjain’s Mahakal Lok and the other Jyotirlinga Omkareshwar attract a large number of tourists. Madhya Pradesh is also known for the Simhastha held every 12th year in the religious city of Ujjaini. Madhya Pradesh is full of rivers, ponds and lakes, the big pond of the state capital Bhopal, which is called Chota Mumbai, the spectacular water streams of Maa Narmada, Tapti, Chambal and Kshipra mesmerize the tourists.
