Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is a state rich in natural resources and wealth. The state has had a special cultural identity in every era. In the modern era, employment-oriented industries are being promoted in the state with the resolve to make the country’s number one state on the basis of industrial prosperity. By preserving the rich ancient culture and artistic heritage of the state, trade, industry and service sectors are developing extensively in the state by creating an industry-friendly environment through public welfare policies. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Madhya Pradesh Day celebrations at the 43rd India International Trade Fair being held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that two Jyotirlingas are located in Madhya Pradesh. It is the home of rivers, where the holy Narmada and Shipra rivers flow. The state is the only Tiger State, Leopard State and Cheetah State rich in wildlife. Mineral wealth is also available in abundance in the state and it is the only diamond producing state. Apart from this, the state has a special identity of art, culture and civilization for centuries. It has a rich history of 5 thousand years and it has been the karmabhoomi and tapabhoomi of Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Shri Ram.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that since historical times, the state has been known for its trade and business prosperity. In this sequence, at present, the Madhya Pradesh government is inviting industrialists to invest in the state by organizing regional industry conclaves at divisional levels and road shows at industrial centers. Women self-help groups are also being encouraged under the ‘One District-One Product’ scheme in the state. Heavy industries are also being promoted along with micro, small and medium enterprises in the state. With the aim of making the state the fastest growing state, the year 2025 will be celebrated as the Industry Year. The state government is determined to double the gross domestic product of Madhya Pradesh in the next 5 years.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said that as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of developed India and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s promptness, Madhya Pradesh is touching new heights in the field of industrialization. He said that as per the vision of the Chief Minister, young entrepreneurs are moving forward in every district through the organization of Regional Industry Conclave. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is also going to go on a foreign trip with the aim of inviting prominent industrialists. With the aim of making Madhya Pradesh developed, the Chief Minister has decided to celebrate the year 2025 as the Industry Year.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh pavilion by lighting a lamp at the fair. He also visited various stalls in the Madhya Pradesh pavilion and boosted the morale of the artisans. The pavilion has been developed on the theme of ‘Developed India @ 2047’, in which artistic display of start-ups and enterprises has been done along with the heritage of the state. The mission of youth, poor, women and farmer welfare has been prominently displayed in the pavilion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also distributed awards for outstanding performance in the program. Tourism Department was awarded for the best stall display in Madhya Pradesh pavilion and Madhya Pradesh Matikala Board for handicrafts. Mr. Mohammad Yusuf Khatri was honored for the best live art display in the pavilion. Along with this, other participants of Madhya Pradesh pavilion were also honored for their best performance.
A glimpse of the rich cultural program of the state was seen in the Madhya Pradesh Diwas celebrations. Janaki Band of Jabalpur performed under the musical direction of Dr. Shipra Sullere and in coordination with Davinder Singh Grover. A captivating presentation of Akhada folk dance of Bundelkhand was also given under the direction of Ms. Pooja Srivastava.
Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur, State Minister for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Small Industries Corporation Dilip Kumar were also present in the program.
