Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of the country, and the sound of Madhya Pradesh should be heard in the heartbeat of the country. This is possible only with the talent, ability and efficiency of the youth of the state. The selection of 60 youth of the state in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 reflects the potential of Madhya Pradesh. These youth of the state will play an important role in different services of the country and the whole country will experience the impact of our state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium to honor and interact with the participants selected in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored all the selected participants by presenting them mementoes and a copy of the book Bharatiya Gyan Parampara. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the e-Gyansetu YouTube channel. He released the booklet “Madhya Pradesh ki Pratibhaon ka Parcham”. On this occasion, a documentary film on e-Gyansetu and the selected participants was also screened. Higher Education Minister Mr. Inder Singh Parmar, Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy Director Mr. Ashok Kadel, participants and other officials were present in the program.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after independence, the officers of the administrative service have played an important role in establishing the country as a healthy democratic nation. It is the gift of the democratic system that even a person connected to the ground can get the opportunity to lead the country and the state. It is also a matter of pride that most of the youth selected in the civil service have studied from government schools. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while mentioning the contribution of revered Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the freedom struggle, said that he gave the ICS examination to prove the ability of the people of India and broke the pride of the British by succeeding in it. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while quoting the justice-loving and commitment towards good governance of Emperor Vikramaditya and Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, called upon the candidates to be sensitive towards the general public, active for public welfare and always committed to public interest in the discharge of their duties. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while wishing the candidates for a bright future, said that public welfare and development of the country is the main objective of public service. If the selected candidates work hard with their efficiency and proficiency then the fragrance of their work and feelings will spread in the environment like sandalwood.
Higher Education Minister Mr. Inder Singh Parmar said that the selection of such a large number of youth of the state in the UPSC Civil Services Examination is a matter of pride for the people of the state. Your cooperation will help in realizing the dreams of the state. He said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is making special efforts to arrange coaching for the Civil Services Examination in Madhya Pradesh. This year, a large number of participants have been selected from cities as well as rural areas, which shows that not only school education but higher education has also expanded effectively to rural areas. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anupam Rajan informed that out of 1009 candidates selected at the national level, 60 are from Madhya Pradesh. With the aim that all the youth of the state can take inspiration from this success of the candidates, the program is being broadcast in all the colleges of the state. In the program, Mr. Rishabh Chaudhary of Mandsaur and Farkhanda Qureshi of Balaghat shared their experiences in the Civil Services Selection Examination.
