Madhya Pradesh is moving towards District to Global through continuous efforts

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is no longer just a state welcoming investment proposals, but has become a partner of industries and entrepreneurs. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government has developed a new work culture where the announcement of policies is not limited to papers, but the real impact of their implementation on the ground is visible. This is the reason why three special workshops organized in Ujjain, Shajapur and Indore in recent times have emerged as a living example of this effort.
The path to starting a business has become simple and transparent – A large number of new entrepreneurs, investors and startup representatives participated in the workshop organized in Ujjain on ‘Start Your Business in 30 Days’ and ‘Ease of Doing Business’. Detailed information was given on topics like single window system, automatic permissions, online application tracking and Jan Vishwas Act. The main objective of this workshop was to give the message that ‘now setting up an industry in Madhya Pradesh is not just a dream, but a simple process.’ The “Start Your Business in 30 Days” campaign launched by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was especially discussed, in which the facility of starting a business with all the formalities is being provided within 30 days. This initiative has received appreciation across the country and is establishing Madhya Pradesh as a reliable destination among investors.
Identification of export potential at district level- In the workshop organized on the subject of ‘Export Promotion’ in Shajapur, it became clear that now the state government is committed to taking export to the district and rural level, not limiting it to only metros. Experts from DGFT, ECGC, FIEO and MSME Department guided the more than 100 entrepreneurs present on various stages of export – registration, certification, branding, risk management and access to international market. 13 new exporters registered for IEC (Import Export Code) during the workshop itself, making this effort more practical.
New dimensions of dialogue—Coffee with Exporters- The ‘Coffee with Exporters’ program in Indore established a new kind of trust between the state government and exporters. Many technical institutions including ECGC, FIEO, MPIDC, MSME DFO and Postal Department participated in this dialogue held in an informal environment and made the exporters aware of practical information. With 15 new IEC registrations, this program not only became a platform for exchange of information.
Continuous results are visible – Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, ‘Regional Investors Conclave’, road shows organized in the country and abroad, Global Investors Summit (GIS) and workshops organized at the district level are part of a comprehensive strategy. Their aim is not only to attract investment, but also to make the journey of investors simple, transparent and beneficial. So far, 18 new industrial policies have been implemented in the state by the Department of Industry and Investment Promotion, which have been prepared keeping in mind various sectors – textile, logistics, agro, IT, EV, ESDM, bio energy etc. Along with this, the Jan Vishwas Act and Single Window System have simplified the administrative processes so much that investors are now seeing Madhya Pradesh as a ‘place of solutions’ and not a ‘web of processes’.
MSME and innovation: The backbone of self-reliant MP – About 12 lakh MSME units operating in the state are now not just small industries, but are becoming the axis of export and innovation. Special emphasis was given to this sector in the workshops, and it was told how MSME is being linked to new schemes and training on the priority of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
