Liquor ban implemented to maintain sacred sentiments in religious towns and healthy environment in families: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Indian culture with the idea of ​​’Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ considers the whole world as a family. The state government, which is working on this principle under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is dedicated to the welfare and well-being of all. Liquor prohibition has been implemented to ensure that the environment of families is not spoiled and the hard-earned money is used for the benefit of the family. A sense of holiness is felt in religious cities, hence, liquor prohibition was implemented in these places to maintain the dignity of the 19 Dev-sthans present in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the civil felicitation ceremony organized for the implementation of liquor ban in Datia, the city of Maa Pitambara. In the program, public representatives and citizens felicitated Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for the liquor ban in Datia.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that wherever there is the grace of Devi Maa in the state including Datia, Devi Lok will be developed there. All the places of the state associated with Lord Shri Ram including Chitrakoot are being upgraded under Shri Ram Vanpath Gaman Marg. Similarly, wherever Lord Krishna’s Leelas took place, provision has been made in the budget to develop those places as pilgrimage. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in accordance with the basic spirit of Sanatan culture “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niraamaya:”, the state government is working dedicatedly for the welfare of all.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the economy of the state is agriculture based. The interest of farmers is paramount for the state government. Wheat is being purchased at the rate of Rs 2600 per quintal to ensure that farmers get the right price for their hard work and produce. Prime Minister Shri Modi has given gifts like ‘Ken-Betwa’ link project and ‘Chambal-Kali Sindh-Parvati’ river linking project to the state. Along with this, Tapti Mega Recharge Project has also been approved. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to the farmers not to sell their land and said that Datia will also benefit from these river linking projects and the happy life of farmer families is assured. In the double engine government, the interest of the public is paramount. Under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the state government has done what it said.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while motivating the general public to avoid unnecessary expenses, said that unnecessary expenditure on events like marriage and funeral feasts is futile. Focusing on the education of their children and building their future should be the top priority of the families. Activities like providing concrete houses to every poor person and food arrangements for every needy person are being conducted. The all-round development and public welfare activities being conducted in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi are similar to the ideal of Ram Rajya.

Former Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that the decision taken by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to ban liquor in many religious cities of the state including Datia, cannot be praised enough. Many families face problems due to alcohol addiction. Dr. Mishra said that to provide employment to the youth in the state, the Chief Minister has made meaningful efforts to establish industries in the state by discussing with industrialists not only in the country but also abroad. Due to his efforts, many industrialists have come to the state and set up industries and provided employment to the people.

MLA Sevdha Shri Pradeep Aggarwal said that the historic decision of prohibition of liquor in Datia, the city of Maa Pitambara, taken by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, cannot be praised enough. All the residents of Datia are grateful to the Chief Minister for this.
